Arboreal.pro was founded in 2019 by a team of fantasy RPG enthusiasts who wanted to create immersive, player-driven open worlds that prioritize storytelling, exploration, and community. Based in Portland, Oregon, our team of 15 developers, writers, artists, and designers is passionate about crafting rich, detailed fantasy universes where players can lose themselves in epic adventures. Our story began when our co-founders, Elara Voss and Kael Thorn, met while working on a major fantasy RPG at a large studio. They dreamed of creating a game where players had true freedom—to explore, to make meaningful choices, and to shape the world around them—without the constraints of linear storytelling or pay-to-win mechanics. They left their jobs, assembled a team of like-minded creators, and set out to build Arboreal.pro as a platform for this vision. At Arboreal.pro, our flagship game, Eldoria: The Enchanted Realm, is a sprawling open-world RPG set in a magical forest kingdom filled with ancient ruins, mythical creatures, and factions vying for power. Unlike many modern RPGs, Eldoria emphasizes player choice—every decision you make, from aligning with a faction to helping a stranger, has consequences that ripple through the world. We’ve spent years crafting the game’s lore, with thousands of pages of backstory and hundreds of unique NPCs (non-player characters) with their own motivations and personalities. What sets us apart? We believe in depth over breadth. Our world is smaller than some open-world games, but every corner is filled with detail—hidden quests, environmental storytelling, and secrets waiting to be discovered. We also prioritize community, allowing players to form guilds, engage in player-vs-player (PvP) battles, and even participate in server-wide events that shape the game’s narrative. Our in-game economy is player-driven, with crafting and trading systems that encourage collaboration. Our team brings diverse expertise to the table. Our lead writer, Lila Moon, is a published fantasy author who has crafted Eldoria’s rich lore and compelling quests. Our art director, Marcus Reed, specializes in fantasy concept art and has created stunning visuals that bring the enchanted realm to life. Our technical lead, Priya Patel, ensures that the game runs smoothly on a variety of devices, with seamless multiplayer integration. And our community manager, Jake Taylor, fosters a welcoming environment for players, hosting regular Q&As with developers and soliciting feedback to improve the game. Since launching Eldoria in 2022, we’ve released two major expansions and dozens of content updates, all inspired by player feedback. Our community has grown to over 500,000 players worldwide, with active guilds, fan art, and role-playing communities. We’re proud that our game has become a second home for many players, who log in not just to complete quests, but to connect with friends and immerse themselves in the world. Looking to the future, we plan to expand the Eldoria universe with new regions, factions, and storylines. We also aim to launch a mobile version of the game to reach more players, and to develop a tabletop RPG companion to deepen the lore. Our goal is to become a leading name in fantasy RPGs, known for our commitment to storytelling, player choice, and community.
